Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Commit+ ("the Application"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use the Application.

2. Commit+ Accounts and Hosted Services

The AGPLv3 license governs the source code and does not require a Commit+ account for guest or local Git use. Optional hosted services—including authentication, subscription entitlement, settings sync, and repository bookmarks—are provided as part of the official Commit+ service and may depend on your current plan.

A Free account may be signed in on one Mac. An active Pro account may be signed in on up to three Macs. These limits apply only to Firebase-authenticated Commit+ cloud sessions; they do not restrict guest use, local repositories, Git itself, or a copy of the open-source software that you operate independently. You may sign out, revoke or replace a Mac, or delete your account using the controls provided by Commit+.

3. License

Commit+ is free and open source software released under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 (AGPLv3). This license grants you the following rights:

• Use the software for any purpose, personal or commercial.
• Modify the software to suit your needs.
• Distribute copies of the original or modified software.
• Access and study the source code.

In return, the AGPLv3 requires that any modified version of the Application that you distribute or make available over a network must also be distributed under the same license, with access to the corresponding source code. 4. Intellectual Property

The Commit+ name, logo, and visual design elements are trademarks of the Commit+ project. These terms do not grant you permission to use the project's branding in a way that suggests endorsement or affiliation without prior written consent.

The source code itself, however, is governed solely by the AGPLv3 and may be used in accordance with that license.

5. User Responsibilities

As a user of Commit+, you agree that you will not:

• Use the Application for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Distribute malware, viruses, or other harmful code through the Application.
• Attempt to reverse engineer the Application beyond what is permitted by applicable law.
• Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or license notices included with the software.

6. Disclaimer of Warranty

The Application is provided "as is" and "as available," without any warranty of any kind, express or implied.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Commit+ developers disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Application will meet your requirements, be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any defects will be corrected.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall the Commit+ developers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

This includes, without limitation, damages for loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill arising out of or in connection with the use or inability to use the Application, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so this limitation may not apply to you.

8. Third-Party Services

Commit+ allows you to interact with third-party Git hosting platforms at your own discretion. We are not responsible for the content, practices, or availability of those services. Your use of any third-party service is governed by their own terms and policies.

9. Termination

These terms are effective until terminated. You may terminate them at any time by ceasing to use the Application and deleting all copies in your possession. The provisions regarding warranty disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law shall survive any termination.

10. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Vietnam, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these terms shall be brought exclusively in the courts of Vietnam.

11. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these terms at any time. Changes become effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the Application after any changes indicates your acceptance of the new terms.
